1. Who is responsible
The data controller (veri sorumlusu) is Çağatay Oktay, operating the early-stage project “Ilimni”. Ilimni is a project name, not an incorporated company. Contact for privacy matters: hello@ilimni.io.
2. What we process
- When you use the contact or early-access form: your name, email address, the role or topic you select, your message, and a record that you ticked the consent box (included in the email we receive). We do not ask for sensitive data; please do not send any.
- When you email us directly: your email address, name if shown, and the content of your message.
- Technical data: our hosting provider Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details (time, page, browser type) to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and apply a short rate limit to the form. We do not keep our own logs, run analytics, advertising tools or tracking cookies, and we do not store form submissions on the website.
3. Why, and on what legal basis

We will not add you to a mailing list, record an interview or contact you for recruitment unless you separately agree to that, and we will tell you what is involved first.
4. Who receives it, and transfers abroad
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States, global network): hosts the website, provides DNS and the security layer, runs the form processing, and routes email sent to our address.
- Google LLC (Gmail, United States): hosts the mailbox where your message arrives.
We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it. Because these providers operate outside Türkiye (and outside the EEA), your message is transferred abroad. We rely on your explicit consent for this occasional transfer and on the data-processing terms and standard contractual clauses these providers publish. If you do not want this, do not use the form.
5. How long we keep it
Messages stay in our mailbox for as long as needed to answer you and for the following conversation, and are deleted or anonymised within 24 months after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer or you ask us to delete them sooner. Cloudflare keeps its technical logs for the periods in its own documentation; nothing is stored by us on the website itself.
6. Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 you may: learn whether your data is processed and request information; learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties it is passed to in Türkiye or abroad; request correction of incomplete or wrong data; request deletion or destruction under Article 7; ask that these actions be notified to third parties who received the data; object to a result against you arising from automated analysis (we do none); and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect earlier processing).
To use a right, email hello@ilimni.io. We may ask for information to confirm who you are, and we answer within 30 days (KVKK) or one month (GDPR). You may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu, kvkk.gov.tr) or, if you are in the EEA, to your local data-protection authority.
7. Children
This website is aimed at researchers and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has written to us, tell us and we will delete it.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, forms are processed in memory and forwarded by email, and access to the mailbox is limited to the operator. No online transmission is perfectly secure.
9. Changes
If our practices change (for example, if we add analytics or accounts), we will update this notice and its date before the change takes effect.

1. Veri sorumlusunun kimliği
Veri sorumlusu, “Ilimni” adlı erken aşama proje kapsamında faaliyet gösteren Çağatay Oktay’dır. Ilimni bir proje adıdır; tüzel kişilik değildir. İletişim: hello@ilimni.io.
2. İşlenen kişisel veriler
İletişim veya erken erişim formunu doldurduğunuzda ya da bize e-posta gönderdiğinizde; ad-soyad, e-posta adresi, seçtiğiniz rol ya da konu, mesajınızın içeriği ve onay kutusunu işaretlediğinize dair bilgi işlenir. Ayrıca barındırma sağlayıcımız Cloudflare, siteyi sunmak ve güvenliğini sağlamak amacıyla IP adresinizi ve istek bilgilerinizi (zaman, sayfa, tarayıcı türü) işler. Site; analitik, reklam veya izleme çerezi kullanmaz ve form içeriğini sitede saklamaz. Lütfen özel nitelikli kişisel veri göndermeyiniz.
3. İşleme amaçları ve hukuki sebepleri
- Mesajınızı yanıtlamak, talep ettiğiniz araştırma görüşmesi, iş birliği veya erken erişim süreçlerini yürütmek: KVKK m. 5/2-f (ilgili kişinin temel hak ve özgürlüklerine zarar vermemek kaydıyla veri sorumlusunun meşru menfaati).
- Sitenin güvenliğini sağlamak, kötüye kullanımı ve istenmeyen iletileri sınırlamak: KVKK m. 5/2-f.
- Verilerin yurt dışındaki hizmet sağlayıcılara aktarılması: KVKK m. 9 kapsamında formdaki onay kutusunu işaretleyerek verdiğiniz açık rıza ve sağlayıcıların sunduğu sözleşmesel güvenceler.
4. Verilerin aktarıldığı taraflar ve yurt dışına aktarım
Verileriniz; web sitesini barındıran, DNS ve güvenlik hizmeti sunan, formu işleyen ve e-posta yönlendirmesini yapan Cloudflare, Inc. (ABD) ile e-posta kutusunu barındıran Google LLC (Gmail, ABD) ile paylaşılır. Bu sağlayıcılar yurt dışında bulunduğundan mesajınız yurt dışına aktarılmış olur. Bu aktarım düzenli değil, formu kullandığınız an ile sınırlıdır ve açık rızanıza dayanır; ayrıca sağlayıcıların yayımladığı veri işleme şartları ve standart sözleşme hükümleri dikkate alınır. Verileriniz satılmaz; kanunen zorunlu olmadıkça başka kişilerle paylaşılmaz. Bu aktarımı istemiyorsanız formu kullanmayınız.
5. Toplama yöntemi ve saklama süresi
Verileriniz, sizin doldurduğunuz web formu veya gönderdiğiniz e-posta aracılığıyla elektronik ortamda toplanır. Mesajlar, yanıtlama ve sonraki yazışma için gerekli olduğu sürece, son iletişimden itibaren en geç 24 ay içinde silinir veya anonim hale getirilir; kanunun daha uzun süre saklamayı gerektirdiği hâller ve daha önce silme talebiniz saklıdır. Cloudflare’in teknik kayıtları kendi belgelerindeki süreler boyunca tutulur.
6. KVKK madde 11 kapsamındaki haklarınız
- Kişisel verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme,
- İşlenmişse buna ilişkin bilgi talep etme,
- İşlenme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme,
- Yurt içinde veya yurt dışında aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme,
- Eksik veya yanlış işlenmişse düzeltilmesini isteme,
- KVKK madde 7’de öngörülen şartlar çerçevesinde silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme,
- Düzeltme, silme ve yok etme işlemlerinin verilerin aktarıldığı üçüncü kişilere bildirilmesini isteme,
- İşlenen verilerin münhasıran otomatik sistemler vasıtasıyla analiz edilmesi suretiyle aleyhinize bir sonuç doğmasına itiraz etme (bu sitede otomatik karar verme yoktur),
- Kanuna aykırı işlenmesi sebebiyle zarara uğramanız hâlinde zararın giderilmesini talep etme.
7. Başvuru yöntemi
Haklarınızı kullanmak için hello@ilimni.io adresine yazabilirsiniz. Kimliğinizi doğrulamak için ek bilgi isteyebiliriz. Başvurunuz, talebin niteliğine göre en geç otuz gün içinde sonuçlandırılır. Başvurunuzun yanıtından memnun kalmazsanız veya yanıt alamazsanız Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu’na (kvkk.gov.tr) şikâyette bulunma hakkınız saklıdır.
